2009 April Fools Tournament
April showers bring May flowers.
Let’s get together while it rains to play some chess games.
The games are quick (G/45) and it’s a four round Swiss.
One game each meeting, just enough time to practice your opening.
Games are USCF rated, entry fees are low, for the club, let your talents show.
Format: One USCF-rated section. 5-rounds, G/45
Schedule: April 2, 16, 23 & 30.
(All Thursday nights, start 7:30pm). No alternate
dates! Entry Fee: $2 for MCC members,
$5 for non-members. MCC Club membership
recommended: $20 regular, $10 junior/student (< 19), $10 Seniors (>
65).
Prizes: Two book prizes: (1) biggest upset; (2) biggest rating gain. Misc.: No Smoking, Wheel Chair

Club meets Thursday evenings from 7 to 11pm at First Christian Church (basement) in Morgantown (directions). The club is closed the last Thursday of every month.
